So much to discover – there are hundreds of caves and caverns in Central Visayas.

Rediscover Central Visayas

In Cebu, there is an underwater cave within a kilometer from the international airport. The Pawod Underwater Cave System, accessible through Barangay Agus in Lapu-lapu City, is a huge, complex network which is being used for training aspirant cave divers.

In Bohol, there are 1,400 caves throughout the main island. The island also hosts other curious formations such as sinkholes and ravines aside from the famous Chocolate Hills.

Negros Oriental, meanwhile, has Mabinay town, recognized Cave Capital of the Philippines, where more than 400 formations beckon to adventurers.

Siquijor, a relatively smaller island, has lots of caves, too. Its most famous, Cantabon, is 800 meters long and has a number of interesting elements to discover.
